GEFEG mbH and DIN Software GmbH have cooperated in the provision of the DIN ZUGFeRD Validation Portal (www.din-zugferd-validation.org). Being long-term partners for the distribution of UN/EDIFACT standard data and services, GEFEG and DIN Software now offer a state-of-the-art service making a free validation portal available for use across the ZUGFeRD community. This validation service helps both companies and administrations to take advantage of the benefits offered by fully automated electronic invoice processing. By providing this validation service, GEFEG and DIN Software aim to promote the use of the electronic invoicing through their support of the ZUGFeRD invoice. A third aspect of the commitment is the wish to lay the foundation for the consideration of ZUGFeRD in the forthcoming establishment of an EU directive on electronic invoicing.
